November 10, 2009 - HTC Imagio (Verizon Wireless) review.

It also has Windows Mobile 6.5, a slew of productivity apps, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, EV-DO Rev. A, and world phone capabilities. We love the huge touch screen, the 3.5-mm headset jack, the 5-megapixel camera, and the antenna that doubles as a kickstand.” Specifications on HTC’s website can be seen here.

August 7, 2009 - Samsung Omnia II I8000 Fantastic Review.

“This new Omnia is bigger and badder, with just about everything getting a refresh. The screen has gained half an inch- now up to 3.7″ and the resolution has quadrupled to 480×800. AMOLED technology has replaced TFT for improved battery life and more vibrant images. We’ll have to wait for our own hands-on experience, but going by the images we’ve seen the Omnia II’s display manages to make even the iPhone 3G’s screen look dowdy. Video capture is now DVD quality, and connection standards such as 3G, Wi-Fi and GPS are all on board, along with 8GB of internal storage.” If you are interested in watching an interactive emulator of the Omnia II click here.

June 29, 2009 - Verizon’s Samsung Omnia II to come out August 23rd.

“Shortly after Samsung announced its four new Omnia phones, word spread quickly that Verizon had plans to carry the Omnia II. However, information about the release date was missing so it wasn’t certain when to expect the successor. Now, thanks to a tipster of ours who claims to have contacted Verizon Wireless, we know the carrier intends to make the smartphone available sometime in late August. We really hope this info turns out true so that we are finally able to get our hands on the sweet smartphone from Samsung. What about you – are you excited to see the new Omnia as soon as next month?”
June 5, 2009 - phoneArena Reviews the HTC TouchPRO 2.

“HTC used to equip their top range smart phones with wide, side sliding, full QWERTY keyboards that seem to have been largely successful, since the first, fifth generation device with the same form factor, the HTC Touch Pro2, has just been released. The phone sports a huge 3.6-inch screen, awesome 5 row keyboard, mechanism that lets you tilt the display so you can see things better and a bunch of extra business features to drool over. And look at that keyboard! It practically screams “Type fast on me!”

February 12, 2009 - Touch. Smart. Entertainment. Simplicity. Samsung OMNIA: More Than A Phone.

Enter the Samsung i900 Omnia, a phone that submits to design direction forced upon the industry largely by the iPhone — full touchscreen, no keyboard, you know the drill by now — and does pretty much everything in its power to make it competitive in the year 2009.
